Credit Scanner is an app that helps you recharge your SIM-card on your smartphone by using your camera.
Credit Scanner is blazingly fast and accurate, with an exceptional high rate of accuracy.
You can also use Credit Scanner to store your favourite shortcodes for when you want to buy a data bundle, or for when your carrier has a special promocode that you want to save.
About
Credit Scanner is a native app for both iOS and Android, developed by me, Linus Karlsson. I am a software developer from Stockholm, Sweden, living in Accra, Ghana.
Credit Scanner and its website, creditscanner.app, was made in the AU and the EU.

Privacy
The only user data that Credit Scanner may collect is a user’s email address, which is only collected when a user has questions about Credit Scanner or is in need of support.
Upon request the user’s email address can be deleted at anytime by sending an email to klykarlsson@gmail.com.
Credit Scanner never shares the user’s email address with another party, nor does Credit Scanner contact the user for promotional reasons.
Some of the icons that are used in this app comes from icons8.com, which is a great source for small scale independent developers. More information about icons8 here: https://icons8.com.
This app uses the frameworks ML Kit and Firebase Analytics, both by Google.
The data that ML Kit collects are:
- Device information (such as manufacturer, model, OS version and build) and available ML hardware accelerators (GPU and DSP). Used for diagnostics and usage analytics.
- App information (package name / bundle id, app version). Used for diagnostics and usage analytics.
- API configuration (such as image format and resolution). Used for diagnostics and usage analytics.
- Event type (such as initialize, download model, update, run, detection). Used for diagnostics and usage analytics.
- Error codes. Used for diagnostics.
- Performance metrics. Used for diagnostics.
- Per-installation identifiers that do not uniquely identify a user or physical device. Used for operation of remote configuration and usage analytics.
- Network request sender IP addresses. Used for remote configuration diagnostics. Collected IP addresses are retained temporarily.
- Configured languages. Used for diagnostics and usage analytics.

The data that Firebase Analytics collects are:
- Number of users and sessions.
- Session duration.
- Operating systems.
- Device models.
- Geography.
- First launches.
- App opens.
- App updates.
- In-app purchases.
